New Groves Hospital Updates

The New Groves Hospital is scheduled to open in Spring 2020. It will feature many improvements to ensure our hospital grows with our community.

The new hospital will operate with a Central Registration process. Making it easier and more efficient for patients to check in.
The main floor cafeteria will offer a great space for patients and families to enjoy a meal with floor to ceiling windows.

We believe that many spiritual practices are important to healing. The new hospital will have a multi-faith room to aid in support.

Bed count is increasing from

39 to 45. Plus, 5 surge beds. This means in total we will have 50 new beds available.

On-site helipad to allow for faster
access
 to patient transfers by
air ambulance.

The parking lot will increase from

150 to 315 parking spaces. Staff and community can look forward to bike racks, infrastructure for

electric cars and hitching posts for horse and buggy.

Every patient room will have
its own washroom and shower.

Patient Rooms will have

 large vertical and horizontal
windows with a

view of natural landscapes.

The new hospital will be over 50% larger than the current facility.

The new hospital will have modernized infection

control measures, including

additional isolation facilities.

Energy efficient,

sustainable and

environmentally friendly

building features.

How Far We've Come...

DONATE FOR FIRST-CLASS HEALTH CARE CLOSE TO HOME.

As a community, we now have less than $1.7 Million left to raise for the New Groves Hospital. Together, we can make a difference; if each household in our area donated $151, we would be able to meet our goal and ensure the success of this project! Just the cost of two coffees a week over a year.

I AM MOST EXCITED ABOUT

"Depending on where you are in our current hospital, the temperature greatly varies with some areas of the hospital being very warm and some areas very cool. I am excited to have a new building that provides us with improvements that allow for better climate control for patients and staff comfort."
